The Challenge
Philips Consumer Lifestyle having its concept and general design on the new product Quadrante coffeemaker – Senseo family had to develop 32 injection moulding tools of all plastics for the product, and at the same time adjust product design to make it as simple and practical as possible. Also some of plastic components were to be sub-assembled before they go onto final assembly line. In the final phase, mass production of components had to be secured.
Bianor Approach
On the basis of received documentation and introduction Bianor has proposed to develop all 32 tools together with engineering supervision over design improvements. Also a solution for components’ sub-assembly was developed in-house. Co-development department of Bianor took responsibility for manufacturing of the tools in Europe and Far East. In-house assembly line was developed specifically for the products required by Client. Finally Bianor secured Philips with mass production of all 32 plastic components followed by sub-assembly service.

With nearly 90 years of experience in advanced motor design, Makita applies the latest innovation to engineer and manufacture the best power tools in the world. Makita Power Tools have more power and less weight, and are more compact and more efficient than any other.
The Challenge
Makita Corporation having its new product design ready was looking for a trustworthy partner focused on zero mistakes quality approach in Europe to produce power tools motor housings within a tight schedule and budget. Plastic housings were to be manufactured and delivered to an assembly plant in Central Europe. The technology and quality demands were put very high above average industrial standards. The housings were to be manufactures with reinforced PA being overmolded then.
Bianor Approach
On the basis of received documentation and introduction Bianor co-development department has proposed to assist in adjusting the existing tool to the highest standards of quality and then support Makita with manufacturing and logistics solutions required. Several proposals were set forward to the Client to optimise highest standards both in tool adjustments and manufacturing. Best communication and customer support standards of Bianor were used to intensify project development and implementation. Bianor engineers availability to discuss challenges both in Makita plant and Bianor site were also crucial in project success.
